Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is back in theatres as the film completes 25 years since its release. On Sunday evening, Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji along with Karan Johar made appearances at special screenings in Mumbai. In a viral video from one of the screenings, Shah Rukh Khan was seen holding Rani Mukerji’s saree pallu.

The viral video sees Rani Mukerji making her way to the front of the theatre while Shah Rukh Khan carries her saree pallu. His gesture is winning hearts as fans fall in love with SRK all over again. Check it out here:

Karan Johar hosted screenings of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai which marked his directorial debut 25 years ago.

The film that features SRK, Rani and Kajol in lead roles is one of the most loved movies in Hindi cinema. It was released on October 16, 1998.

Kajol was not present at the screenings on Sunday due to an outdoor shoot schedule. Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji spoke to fans as they reflected on the film’s legacy.
